Nominations for Student Leadership Awards due February 27
Nominations for Student Affairs for Student Leadership Awards are sought by the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
Graduate and/or professional students are eligible for:
Joseph H. Smith Award
Recipients: 1 undergraduate, graduate/professional, or RSO
Criteria: Developed an effective and sustaining activity toward interracial or cultural understanding and appreciation through outside classroom experiences.
The purpose of the award is to promote the educational value of racial/cultural diversity among students.
Award: The recognition includes a monetary award.
Moms Association Humanitarian Award
Recipients: 1 undergraduate and 1 graduate/professional
Criteria: Outstanding and innovative service within the local community
Award: Each award includes a monetary award and a grant to an organization of the recipient’s choice.
Criteria varies per award. Awards range from $500 to $1500.
The online application is due Monday, February 27 at 5:00 p.m.
