Three Magic Letters: Getting to Ph.D.

A symposium for graduate faculty, students, and alumni

In 2003, the University of Illinois Graduate College initiated a campus-wide event to bring attention to bring attention to graduate education, research, and career planning. The Symposium on Graduate Education is an annual event that provides an opportunity for graduate students, faculty, and staff to discuss the challenges and opportunities distinctive to graduate education. Our keynote speakers have included Bob Weisbuch, Maresi Nerad, Mary Ann Mason, and Chris Golde.
