The Counseling Center can help you develop coping skills to address emotional, interpersonal, and academic cercerns. Individual, couples, and group counseling services are available and are paid for through the health services fee. The Counseling Center offers short-term counseling, but can provide referrals to community resources when longer term services would be beneficial.
 

Wellness Resources

Campus Recreation provides a welcoming environment with sustainable facilities and programs that inspire the University community to engage in recreation and wellness opportunities.
 
Feeling stressed? McKinley’s Relaxation Exercises can be used directly from the computer (you will need audio capability), or they can be downloaded to your MP3 player.
 
These weekly workshops presented by the Counseling Center Paraprofessionals focus on different topics that students may encounter, such as stress, anxiety, loneliness, long-distance relationships, among others. Check the website for offerings.
 
The Psychological Services Center provides various therapy services including therapy for stress, anxiety, and couples issues. Mindfulness training and conflict resolution training are also available. Visit the website for general information.
 
Good health is more than the absence of illness, but is rather a dynamic state of wellbeing that acknowledges the importance and inseparability of the seven dimensions of wellness. The Wellness Center provide services, programs (including self-directed online toolkits and videos), and support to help you be your best.
