Understanding Identity in the Classroom: Through the Lens of Social Simulations

This paper discusses identity in the classroom through social simulations. These simulations express past meaningful school experiences in relation with the identity by university students from a Midwestern university. A comparison of pre-service teachers (N=29) text to animation is explore to determine if the content is consistent, presented in the text based history and animated narratives. Social simulations (is the modeling or simulation of normally performed using a computer, of social phenomena) are representations of the pre-service teacher's narratives stories across the power point program. The principal focus of these simulations is to express the traumatic experiences of the identity with the use of the vignettes (brief scenario that illustrate a particular issue or circumstance). After the research I will probably find that this experience helps the pre-service teachers to be efficient teachers and these experiences expand their knowledge. But the must important finding is how through technology they can express their feelings about their traumatic experiences of identity to improve themselves.
