Understanding Banking System Crises
Banking system crises have long plagued economies around the globe, causing many macroeconomic problems to afflict these areas. In seeking to better understand the implications and causes of international banking system crises, this paper explores several thought determinants of banking system crises, namely regulatory practices, levels of liquidity, and weak institutions. Upon the review of past studies regarding the subject, it has been deemed necessary to assess these thought causes of banking system crises and to provide solutions to these causes.
