Dynamic Generation of On-line Thesaurus of Environmental Compliance Requirements for Army Environmental Compliance Officers

ERDC-CERL provides over seventy volumes of environmental compliance assessment protocol manuals. Army personnel use these manuals to identify regulatory environmental impacts and aspects associated with different Army facilities. Currently, these manuals are stored on Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access. However, there exists a flaw among these applications due to the massive amount of pages. Users are forced to view unnecessary material. ERDC-CERL is in the process of creating a Web-based application, which allows the user to browse tasks to determine related regulated environmental impacts, and find related facilities, and tasks. My contribution will consist of providing a prototype web application implementing different browsing tools that will allow the user to view needed information my conveniently.
