Test Scores

The Test Scores page is where you should list the scores of any relevant test(s) you have taken, such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), and the Inernational English Language Testing Service (IELTS).

  • GRE and GMAT tests are not required for admission to the Graduate College, but they may be required for admission to your proposed program of study; therefore, it is important to contact your proposed program of study office for specific requirements.
  • A TOEFL or IELTS score should also be reported on this page. Unlike the scores of the tests listed above, these scores are required for admission to the Graduate College for non-native English speakers. The minimum scores for the English proficiency requirement can be found on our website. Some international applicants may be exempt from providing these scores, and these waivers are also detailed here.
  • If you self-report a TOEFL and/or IELTS test score, you will be encouraged to upload a copy of your score report.

Important: The scores reported in this section are considered unofficial; you must request the official score to be sent to the University from the organization administering the testour institution code number is 1836. You may also be asked to select a department code; please select the code that best matches your proposed program of study, but please note that it does not matter which department code you choose, as all scores sent to the University will be accessible by all programs.
